Flood UV (Full Surface UV Coating)

A clear UV gloss or matte coating applied over the entire printed surface. Adds scratch resistance and depth. Standard on most premium business cards, packaging, and corporate stationery. Gloss gives vibrant colours; matte gives a sophisticated, soft-touch feel increasingly popular in UAE luxury branding.

Spot UV

UV gloss coating applied selectively — only over specific design elements like a logo, pattern, or text. The contrast between matte paper and gloss spot creates a tactile, premium effect that photographs well and impresses in person. Common on business cards, book covers, and corporate folders in Dubai.

Raised (3D) UV Varnish

Multiple layers of UV varnish are stacked to create a raised, tactile texture — a Braille-like relief on a flat surface. Used for logo embossing effects on luxury packaging, award plaques, and VIP invitations without the tooling cost of traditional embossing dies.

White Ink

White is not a standard CMYK colour — printers cannot create white by mixing inks. UV printers carry a dedicated white ink channel. It's used as an underbase on dark, transparent, or metallic surfaces, or as a design element itself (e.g., white logo on black acrylic). In the UAE, white ink on anodised black aluminium for reverse-print logos is very popular in tech and luxury sectors.
